Community organizing against invasive species. City councillor Mike Colle is holding a ‘Save Our Ravines Town Hall’ on Monday evening. A panel of experts have been promised but could not be confirmed at time of publication.

BUILDING

Bay Bloor development. The city is hosting a free public meeting on Thursday evening about a rezoning application of a 66 storey development at 80 Bloor St. West. The application was submitted in 2013 and includes a plan for 565 units with 85 bachelor units, 52 one-bedroom units, 248 one-bedroom plus den units, 123 two-bedroom units, and 57 three-bedroom units. The plans also include 181 parking spaces and 588 bicycle parking spaces, and space for retail with designs that include, “high ceilings and open glass facades, it will resemble dense retail environments such as 5th Avenue in New York, and Oxford Street in London.”
